Olivia
Olivia is a Provisional Psychologist currently completing her Masters of Clinical Psychology placement with the team at Southern Psychologists. She is committed to providing a warm, non-judgmental and neuro-affirming space where clients feel safe to explore their experiences and navigate current challenges.
With experience in intake assessments and supporting diverse client groups across the lifespan, Olivia draws on evidence-based approaches, including cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT). Her work has included resilience training for first responders, assessment and support for individuals with trauma histories, and interventions for children and young people experiencing anxiety, low mood, self-esteem difficulties, and neurodevelopmental differences. Olivia’s current Master’s thesis explores ways to enhance the accessibility of trauma-specific therapies by providing clients with a choice over how the treatment is delivered.
Olivia understands the barriers that can make seeking mental health support difficult and is passionate about helping clients build resilience, develop practical coping strategies to maintain wellbeing into the future.
